H18EDD-0402P Ethernet Demarcation device Series

           


Overview

H18EDD-0402P series of Ethernet demarcation device from Beijing Huahuan Electronics Co., Ltd., on the basis of high-performance L2 switch service, provide convenience of maintenance and deployment, multi-service support, carrier-class OAM management, reliable protection mechanism, QoS policy, security mechanism, and other service optimization measures. Meanwhile, it features excellent extensibility andreliability.

This device provides two GE optical ports as NNIs, four GE electrical ports as UNI ports, and one FE electrical port as management port, and its CONSOLE port is RS232. It also supports E1, V.35 and other service interfaces. H18EDD-0402P supports the latest carrier Ethernet attributes and is compatible with IEEE, ITU, and MEF standards. The carrier-class OAM has enhanced network management capacity of carrier-class Ethernet and satisfies the operator’s requirements for comprehensive and powerful capacity of monitoring and management. QoS function has extended the scope of carrier Ethernet, applying it to real-time service, i.e. voice andvideo. S-VLAN ID is used to implement VLAN extensibility and provide service for hundreds of enterprise users and hundreds of thousands of individual users.

H18EDD-0402P series includes different configurations. The detailed differences are listed as follows in Table 1.

Features

² UNI supports 10/100M/1000M auto-negotiation,10/100M/1000M full-duplex/half-duplex manual modes, AUTO-MDIX (Media DependentInterface Crossover). NNI supports auto-negotiation mode and 100/1000M full-duplexmode.

² Circuit emulation of E1 and V.35 services on Ethernet link; SAToP protocol; MPLS, IP/UDP, andMEF encapsulation.

² E1 and V.35 interface clock modes support local oscillator clock, adaptive clocking, and port loopback clock.

² IEEE802.1Q VLAN and IEEE802.1ad VLAN (at most4094 VLAN entries).

² E1 interface complies with ITU-T G.703. Ithas built-in BER tester, and loopback test functions.

² V.35 interface complies with ITU-T V.35/V.36 recommendation, supports framed and unframed modes, and provides various interface rates (N×64K, 1≤N≤31), interface modes (DTE and DCE), and clock selections (DCE internal oscillator clock, DCE line clock and DTE V.35 interface clock).

² 120Ω_E1 interface in RJ-48C. It can be converted to 75Ω unbalanced interface through DIP switch on the bottom plateand proprietary cables, to implement impedance matching.

² Cache absorption function (resisting packet delay variation).

² EFM (Ethernet in the First Mile), CFM (Connectivity Fault Management), SLA (Service Level Agreement), and other carrier-class OAM management.
